Embering Effigy is a thrash / groove metal band from Conyers, GA. They have a raw and heavy sound that, to me, is an awesome mix of any metal sub-genre you can think of. They’ve been gigging around the south and have opened for many bands, including our friends Kamikaze Zombie!
Embering Effigy’s bassist and backup vocalist is Mike McGrady, aka Big Mac, who has joined us for a few episodes of RockMental. He reached out to us to tell his mental health story, in which he opened up about his own battles with depression, anxiety, ADHD and other issues. He brings a really awesome perspective not just to the music, but to the entire mental health discussion.
