Lockjaw is a metal band based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and have been jamming together for over 20 years. They have an awesome sound and have opened for huge bands including Disturbed and Drowning Pool!
They have a powerful and aggressive sound like you want from a metal band, but it’s their lyrics that really capture a lot of the mental health challenges that many of us face. It’s raw, it’s heavy, it kicks you in the ass and you’re left wanting more!
Jeff Ogle, Lockjaw’s bad ass guitarist, talks to Chaotic about their shared love for Metallica, the band’s new Texas tour, and what songs like I Can’t Escape and Living In My Head say about mental health.
Lockjaw’s new single The Monster Inside drops on April 16, so make sure you follow the band on Spotify to hear their latest track.
